Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• Ambler: Refers to Ambler Mobility Pvt. Ltd.

• User: Any individual or entity using our Services.

• Ambler Spaces: Outdoor or off-grid locations offered by Ambler for events, photoshoots, or overnight camping.

• Ambler Rental: The act of renting an Ambler-branded campervan or 4x4 vehicle.

• Vehicle: Any campervan, off-road 4x4, or vanlife unit provided by Ambler.

• Booking: A confirmed reservation for a Vehicle or Space.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driving license (Indian or international) to rent a vehicle. For Ambler Spaces, minors must be accompanied by adults.

3. Booking and Payment

• Bookings can be made online via our website or through authorized partners.

• Full payment must be made to confirm a booking.

• Security deposit is required for vehicle rentals. Amount varies based on model and duration.

• Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the cancellation policy.

4. Use of Ambler Spaces

• Spaces are offered on per-day basis.

• No permanent structures or fires allowed unless authorized.

• Users must respect the environment—no littering, damage to flora/fauna, or noise pollution.

• You are responsible for your own safety and belongings.

5. Use of Vehicles

• Vehicles must be returned in the condition received—clean and undamaged.

• Fuel is not included unless stated. Vehicles must be refueled before return.

• Smoking inside vehicles is strictly prohibited.

• Pets are allowed only with prior approval.

• Off-roading is allowed only where specified and at user’s risk.

6. Insurance and Liability

• All Ambler vehicles come with basic third-party insurance.

• Damage due to negligence, off-limit driving, or violation of terms is chargeable.

• Users are liable for any fines, tolls, or legal violations during the rental period.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made 7+ days prior to the booking will receive a 70% refund.

• Cancellations made within 3–6 days: 50% refund.

• Cancellations made within 72 hours: No refund.

• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 business days.

8. Damage, Theft, and Accidents

• Any damage or accident must be reported to Ambler within 1 hour.

• In case of theft, a police complaint must be lodged, and a copy shared with Ambler.

• Costs beyond insurance coverage will be borne by the renter.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Sublet or transfer the vehicle or space.

• Use the vehicle for illegal or commercial activities.

• Carry hazardous materials or more passengers than allowed.

• Tamper with or remove any Ambler branding or tracking systems.

10. Termination

Ambler reserves the right to cancel or terminate any booking without refund in case of:

• Violation of any terms listed here.

• Misuse, abuse, or illegal activity during rental.

• Non-payment or fraudulent activity.

11. Intellectual Property

All images, logos, designs, and content related to Ambler are owned by Ambler Mobility Pvt. Ltd. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

12. Privacy

Your personal data is collected, stored, and used in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. By using our services, you consent to this use.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chandigarh.

14. Changes to Terms

Ambler reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our Services constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
